Blog response 1: Youtube

YouTube is incredibly convenient for the world to have at their hands. We can all see videos of anything, anywhere, whenever we would like to. We even have phones that automatically come with YouTube applied to them. It's just one of those phenomenons that people can't help but use because its so fun and intriguing.

When it comes to new artists, they can all show their talents and their full abilities through mini clips. Many people have been discovered or at least have become well known through what they demonstrate on YouTube.

Seriously though, who can live without YouTube. Any new video that comes out, or even if you want to learn the lyrics to a dog while playing it in the background all you have to is go to YouTube and type in what your looking for. It's just very easy and fast to use when needed.

Blog response 2: Podcasting

Personally,I feel as if podcasting is very useful. The fact that there is probably a  podcast for pretty much anything, makes it's purpose that much more intellectual and useful. Podcasts should be public domain simply because since it's so randomly useful no one knows when they may need one;so having to ask for permission to do things when you want to so them will probably cause some kind of war.

Before this class I didn't even know what a podcast was. So I personally don't feel as if now i will be utilizing them but I'm pretty sure someone else will.

Blog response 3: Wikipedia

Personally, I believe that wikis are incredibly useful. They teach us something quick and if you have time they go into further details. Colleges and universities should most definitely have wikis where students can post their opinions up, it will probably help them attract more students, and get funding for such a “good” community opinion.
There is an extremely excessive amount of wikis out there, but I feel as if there should be because of all the info surrounding us every day. Some people may not be interested in squirrels but something else probably is; I feel like it caters to the needs of such a variety of different people throughout millions of subjects.

Blog response 4: New Media Marketing

The only other kind of new media I guess I can come up with is “pop-ups”. Pop ups always seem to get through any firewall and advertise their product in a very fast and annoying way; but still getting into the mind of the consumer, making them wonder if they should or not buy or sign up for the product at hand. Personally, I have yet to find the need to advertise something through new media.
New media marketing is way better and more utilized than that of paper marketing. Paper marketing is too slow and only targets one specific area or group of people, while new media marketing targets the world by literally being one click away. New media marketing is more flashy, inviting, and way more convincing than paper marketing, it caters to our need of excitement and colors. New media marketing will probably get more intense and used in the future simply because as time passes so do old techniques of marketing.

Blog response 5

I believe that marketing via new media is an easy way to catch peoples attention. Everyone nowadays has an email, Facebook, and even a twitter; so having to figure out how to catch the public's attention has been skipped simply because of world modernization. Personally, I feel that the easiest and most convenient way of advertising is through the social media. I feel as if it’s probably the most inexpensive way of getting your point across in the most eye catching way.
Marketers, at times, invade peoples emails, Facebook, twitter, with all the constant advertisement which eventually gets incredibly annoying. Sometimes you would just like to log in and check your email, or Facebook notifications, and you can’t because of the pop ups or the flashy advertisements on the side bar.
Everyone pretty much uses new media to get their most catchy and brow raising ideas across to the public. Especially since the world is claiming to go green and use less paper products, the only way out is the internet. This new media technique will always be around and will probably get more dramatic as time passes.
